Hi my name is Derek. I have bred fifes many years ago. I want to start up again and have been fortunate enough to get a full 15 cage set up at a very resonable price. Only thing missing were the perches. I have 2 cocks which I believe are Red mosaic: formally known as dimorphic and one looks like a bronze cock. I only want to have a team of 3 pairs. So I am looking for 3 hens if anyone can help me. While I would like to show in 2 to 3 years time I need to visit a few shows to ascertain the standard required as I am brand new to coloured canary breeding.

    Hi Derek,
Think you will find it hard finding hens at this time of year but you never know. I could help you out after the breeding season possibly.
I don't live to far away from you so just let me know. There are two shows at the Stafford show ground, The National and the Stafford & NW zone that you could go to and have a look round.
Good luck finding your hens. Very Happy

    Tony.

Hi Derek, as Tony says I'm sure we'll be able to help after the breeding season. I don't have the varieties your looking for but I'm sure we can point you in the right direction.

Thanks guys, thought that would be the case and thanks for the offer. I am in no hurry and don't want to buy birds just for the sake of breeding this year. will look forward to hearing from you when the breeding season is over.... Derek
