The colour Canary has been active now for over 6 years with a very keen group of like minded fanciers joining and taking place over these years.
When i first stared this forum up i had no idea as to the impact in would have, to me it was just somewhere to talk colour canaries with like minded people.
It has been that and more.
This year i was invited to Judge at the ACS, [for me a great honour] But what i did not realise was the impact the colour canary forum has had.
I was staying at the Premier Inn in Sutton Coldfield.
i arrived late in the evening and after checking in i went to the bar, around a large section of the bar i came across a few familier faces so i joined in, unowning to me there where a large section of these fanciers Forum members, After a bit of introduction it became aware to me that this group of fanciers had over the years had gotten familiar as a result of the Colour Canary Forum.
On that night i was told how different fanciers have become great friends as a result of the forum, plus this meeting at the Premier Inn has been a regular Forum meeting place.
That night hearing and seeing this has made a huge impact on me on what the Colour Canary Forum has achieved, Not only a place on the net to talk about colour canaries but it has united a frendship across the country.
I hope the forum can keep moving forward with the times? these days with moving technology it is not easy to keep up.
Social media groups are appearing all over the net, with its ease of uploading photos it is easier to show other people your birds and birdooms,
But i believe we have something special here, a catalogue of colour canary information at your finger tip, a strong group of very interested colour canary fanciers, and most important a place where new friendship has been made.
Lets us all move forward together and keep sharing our wonderful hobby.
join in the topics, and keep the Colour Canary Forum Alive.
Many thanks to all for being a big part of our hobby and Part of the Colour Canary Forum.
David.
