Yeah. I have a hankering for a pair of Eddie's myself, mate.

As with anything else around here though; It's not finding them. It's getting them from where ever they are to here Rolling Eyes
hope you get a good pair pete,,,beautifull birds but imo harder to get right than other breeds,,,gotta have colour, type, spangles ,rowins, cap, all in proportion,,,not for the faint hearted, but when you find that balance they really are spectacular,,,jb,,, study

Johnboy it's quite acceptable to use the pre cut paper sheets sold by the CCBA
or seed which ever you feel is best.

I had a bloke here, yesterday. I pointed out my yellow mosaic's and said how I liked their simplicity. I told him how I could draw their best form on the back of a fag packet. Then even he'd stand a chance of picking a contender from a crapper.

Red agate though? I just like the way they look. I appreciate their subtle suffusions of colour. Very attractive birds. But, don't ask me to spot a winner.
lol! lol! I could spot em pete,,,its breeding em that counts,,,getting everything right I just think theres more can go wrong on a lizard,,,just my opinion marra,,,others may think differering types are harder to get right,,,startin with clears colour n type to get right,,,mosaics colour type n markings,,,selfs next one up,,,colour types markins and melanin stripes etc and so on,,,lizards top of that pyramid lol! ,,,johnboy... study

trainee trainer... Empty pre cut ccba corrugated showcage paper

    Post  BANTAMJACK1968 Tue Sep 29 2015, 14:27

    Hi johnboy,
i used the precut paper all last show season and i swear by it for the following -
1 -cost wise it works out cheaper per cage compared to seed - 70 sheets for £3 thats an individual 4.2 pence per cage which i dont think youd get much seed for 4.2 pence considering a reputable mix is £24 + for 20kg
2 -hygeine wise there simple to apply and discard
3 - less mess than airborne seed mix
4 - produces a sliproof covering for the birds
5-finally i note bird details on the underside of the precut card and my initials which paid dividends at a CBS last year when a fellow exibitor was perceiving there was a mix up in labels and my bird was his n vice versa.
john if u attend hetton cbs at the weekend ill give you half a dozen whereupon you can try n test but im convinced u wont be disappointed cheers
