Road Trip to Birmingham ACS
If we can get sufficient no's the club is thinking of organising a mini-bus to the ACS in Nov. Members interested in travelling let me know so that we can get an idea of no's and put a price together for the trip, thanks, Ray

Re: Road Trip to Birmingham ACS
If not enough members going I will be heading over anyway. I think the boat price will stay the same. Hotel price at the moment we can get lower. The only thing is the minibus, If I can swap my taxi out and get a lend of another one then It would only cost the fuel @ €20 a head. We have to get the early boat for getting to the hall early to enter birds and also the late boat home so we dont have to rush. Last year there was a traffic jam and we were ok but it could have been worse and have missed the boat home. So late boat back. Can stop for a meal, and a few pints in holyhead. Another idea is 2 cars or 1 car & 1 Van which would be 100 each cheaper. My son has large Transit van.

Ray also suggested that anyone wanting birds collected that we charge €5 each bird, money would go towards club kitty. I know last year I was collecting quiet a few birds and ended up not seeing much of the show. This year we can all give a hand out to collect birds. Maybe we could see some Rosettes coming back with us.

yes, and I also think that there will be limit to the no of birds per person, as John said he spent most of the weekend last year collecting birds and missed out on alot

David we only have 5 going at the moment for definite, so will leave it open for another few weeks. All so far have booked the hotel. When the show season starts you might get another few going.
