hi thanks for the welcome,got into canaries last sept after encouragement from 2 lads on the same street,got a few prs of irish fanceys and 2 goldfinches,as it was my first season made a few mistakes,but with alot of help,i got a few mules[mostley hens],20 young fanceys,got a big kick when the first chick hatched,did not know what what a dimporhic canary was untill i saw them in a friends shed,i have got myself a few for next season,as with all hobbies its a learning one,thanks again for the welcome,dermot mc .

Yes dermot it is a massive learning curve and you never reach the end of it
Obviously you have enjoy your first breeding season.
as long as you can cope with all the ups and downs you will find it a great hobby and make some long term friends all over Europe, but not nessesaraly next year but you will over time.
