    breeding reds and red ivories

Post  David McCool on Wed Jan 06 2010, 17:09

In this section we will be discussing the breeding outcome from red / red ivory.

what we would expect to get from from these pairings.
this will be directed towards the new comer to the fany to keep them on the right tracks regarding breeding colour canaries.

All you input is very welcome.
results from birds you have paired, some times the text book is not always what it reads.

Ilook forward to your posts, remember it will be set as a guide for all to learn from.

    Thanks Davy

If your red ivory where poor in colour crossing a red into the line can help strenghten the depth of colour,

cheers dave, would you use the best coloured red that you have available or would you use a more diluted bird so as not to 'redden' the ivory too much
