Hi folks my name is Errin , i was looking at one of the canary sites my dad is on and noticed the link to this forum. My Dad said to just register to look at the whole site so i did . I asked my dad how yous guys got the red colour in the birds and he said Carophyllred but i thought he said CARROPHYLLFRED Embarassed Embarassed no harm done anyway as its been nice looking at the different varieties .
My dads freind John Mcglinchey used to judge and show new colours dont know if he still does now .

Good site Errin Smile

John Mcglinchey isn't a name I recognise from the Judges panel so don't think he was a member of the CCBA Judges panel.
Having said that on many occasions I have judged many different types of canary's and british over the years.

Hi just asked my dad and he said he had judged at shows in scotland and ireland and j mcglinchey had been judging newcolours thats where he mett him but that would have been 30 years ago at least , he thinks john still has some reds but hasnt shown them for years now .
