If you are thinking of going into canaries seriously and you are looking at coloured canaries
Then a some countries either show clear birds or selfs and they generally don't mix them.

If you go in the coloured canary type's then in each section you will find "Identification Stickies" where you see most of the different colours available at the present.

Thats ok and I'm sure any number of us will help with advice if needed.

If I was you I would try and find out if there are any Canary Clubs or Cage Bird Societies in your area.
From there you should find information about specialist Clubs that just deal with one type of canary.
As there are some like 100 different varieties of canary and more being added yearly,
Even in our variety there are some where in the region of 60 - 80 different colours and mutations,
This is just a note to show you how vast the canary movement is and not trying to frighten you.

I hope you find this helpful
